Hew Locke’s “The Procession,” is on view until January 2023 at Tate Britain. This commissioned work which Hew created specifically for the Tate encourages viewers to “reflect on the cycles of history, and the ebb and flow of culture, people and finance and power” by immersing viewers in the procession.

Student Ceramic Sculptures Discovered

Three 1963 student ceramic sculptures by Donald Locke were recently discovered in a private collection in Edinburgh, Scotland. Two of the sculptures were acquired by the Glasgow Museums.

When the High Museum of Art reorganized and re-installed its permanent collection in mid-October, 2018, Donald Locke’s painting, Conspiracy of Icons #1, was also re-hung and put on view.
